What FarmFinder is
FarmFinder USA is a shared discovery layer for local food in Northern Maine. It holds one public record per farm, food hub, school, and support organization, and lets every other part of the network read from it.
That means a school looking for carrots, a visitor following the Farm Quest trail, and a shopper browsing the marketplace are all looking at the same farm, kept current in one place instead of five.
How profiles stay trustworthy
Each public farm profile is reviewed by the FarmFinder team and can be corrected by the farm owner.
FarmFinder never guesses at a missing fact. Email, phone, and street address details remain private until the farm owner chooses to publish them.
